En 1979, il est \u00e0 la t\u00eate de l\u2019entreprise familiale. Gerd Bulthaup va encore plus loin que l\u2019ambition visionnaire de Martin Bulthaup: \u00ab Nous souhaitions tout simplement fabriquer les meilleures cuisines sans suivre ce qui se faisait habituellement, mais en inventant \u00e0 partir des besoins un espace de vie pour se retrouver et communiquer \u00bb.
