b3 in dark grey aluminum and natural oak veneer with a b2 workbench playing the role of island, complete with integrated cooktop: a place for the family to gather, cook and eat together, surrounded by the bucolic setting of this gracefully articulated home in Vermont.

Truly the ‘great’ room of this French Tudor style home, the b3 kitchen/dining area in sand beige aluminum and solid walnut featuring our monobloc island in stainless steel, is stunning in its duality of grace and monumentality. The family’s personality and desires are reflected especially in the lower height of the bartop and the intimate nook for homework and contemplation.

Guests at our atelier enjoyed the talents of renowned a cappella ensemble, “Sound Off”. It was an eclectic mix of songs from, “Say You’ll Be There” by The Spice Girls, to “I Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley. A new concept for our presence in Boston, bulthaup atelier, opened with clients and friends in happy attendance. Designer Ellen Leslie curated the atelier creation story for the b Solitaire Glass and it drew people’s attention as Ellen recounted some of the tales behind bringing this warm and intimate space to life. The rainy day closed with a gorgeous sunset and guests enjoying the view from the atelier’s balcony. Photography: Damian Hickey
