Events

Ikebana Story
October 20, 2023

Guests enjoyed sushi and sake before settling in for Sensai Ravi GuneWardena’s presentation, “Sogetsu School and the Avant Garde,” and demonstration. Inspired, everyone then created their own Ikebana arrangement that incorporated an object from home they had brought especially for inclusion. Our showroom was filled with flowers and creative energy!

Paella Feast
January 22, 2020

In celebration of this new year and start of a new decade, bulthaup Los Angeles and Compass agent Lynda Kahn hosted a magnificent paella feast with renowned chef Javier Plascencia. Javier set up his paella pan just outside the showroom, cooking al fresco while guests sipped on Cava Sparkling Brut and savored his, fresh from the Sea of Cortez, scallop tostadas. The theme for the evening; for the decade and beyond: Let’s take care of each other. Everyone was invited to serve their neighbor from the family style paella pans set on each of the tables.
