Welcome to bulthaup designfunktion
We have been an authorized partner of Bulthaup GmbH & Co. KG, the manufacturer of the bulthaup brand, since 1993.
Our showroom is in the Schwabing district of Munich at Leopoldstrasse 129, approx. 500 m north of Münchner Freiheit on the corner of Hörwarthstrasse.
On an area covering 120 m2, we are exhibiting five bulthaup kitchens with state-of-the-art technology, garnished with a selection of the finest cooking appliances. In our showroom, you can see why bulthaup is renowned for premium product quality, functionality, ergonomics and design.
Showroom
We focus exclusively on the bulthaup range. In our showroom with an area of 120 m2, we are showcasing 5 kitchens featuring outstanding kitchen technology and appliances. This represents a very good cross-section of the design possibilities offered by bulthaup kitchens.
We are showcasing the bulthaup b3 kitchen system with the typical 1 cm-thick worktops made from laminate and synthetic stone, but we also combine this innovative system with natural stone, stainless steel or solid wood.
Our active kitchen is fully functional with cooking appliances from Gaggenau and an air extraction system from Gutmann. Cooking regularly takes place in this “cookery workshop”. We demonstrate that a bulthaup kitchen doesn’t just look good, but also functions exceptionally well.
Reference projects
Baldham 1
A spacious kitchen island in this detached house in Baldham is dedicated entirely to preparation and cooking. Thanks to the BORA Professional cooktop with downdraft ventilation, vapors are reliably extracted downwards. The floor-to-ceiling larder unit merges with the wall to form a single unit and houses a plate warmer and the ergonomically integrated dishwasher in addition to the Miele baking, steam cooking and cooling unit. Visually, the bulthaup b3 impresses with its minimalist appearance in alpine white laminate, combined with designer bar handles and a handleless look. A 12mm-thick worktop made of artificial stone from Silestone by Cosentino completes the stylish ambience of this open-plan living space design.

Baldham 2
A bulthaup b3 in white and clay gives modern architecture space for creativity and the staging of generosity and openness. The result is a kitchen solution that impresses from every perspective. The free-standing kitchen island extends sculpturally into the room, clad with a stainless steel worktop and offering generous space for preparation and cooking. It is flanked by a tall cabinet block set into the wall for the Miele kitchen technology: with a plate warmer, oven and combi-steamer, cooking innovations become very special moments of enjoyment in everyday life.

Munich Nymphenburg
The dialog between dark kitchen fronts in graphite and natural aluminum mixed with cool stainless steel surfaces creates an atmosphere reminiscent of an uncomplicated industrial-style cooking workshop. The kitchen island of the bulthaup b3, placed on stainless steel legs, also underlines the masculine charm in an unpretentious way. A granite slab in Virginia Black serves as a work surface and, when extended, as a counter, which is fitted with rustic steel stools and invites you to enjoy breakfast or an after-work drink. The bulthaup kitchen in a residential building in Munich Nymphenburg is equipped with an oven, combi-steamer, fridge, freezer and wine fridge integrated into half-height larder units and a separately positioned block of tall units. The result is a highly functional kitchen workshop with a striking material concept.

Munich Schwabing I
In this top-floor apartment in Munich Schwabing, the kitchen presents itself in a unique way as a free space for body and soul. The stylish bulthaup b1 in Alpine white with its spacious kitchen island in the center of the room embodies enjoyment, relaxation and conviviality just as much as its imaginative partner: While the dining area lets off steam playing with colors, shapes and materials, the kitchen design takes on the calming role in purist elegance. Against a “heavenly backdrop” above the rooftops of the city, everyone will find their place for quiet or lively moments.
Garmisch
This kitchen under the roof of a Bavarian wooden house in Garmisch has a very special flair: a modern bulthaup b3 gray cleverly fits into the room with traditional wooden beams in the attic. The absence of wall units in the sloping ceiling is compensated for by ample storage space in the functional line. A niche panel made of toughened safety glass painted on the back and the indirect lighting create a pleasant and comfortable workspace, while the Miele cooling and baking unit in the tall unit is cleverly positioned in the room and acts as a room divider to the dining area. Kitchen fronts in gray aluminum and an artificial stone worktop from Silestone Cosentino create a beautiful contrast to the wooden atmosphere of the furnishings.
