NewYork: Project Coordinator for Commercial Sales (m/f)

Bulthaup, Germany's premier kitchen brand, is looking for a Project Coordinator in New York.

We are seeking an experienced project coordinator based out of our New York showroom. The successful candidate will become part of a hard-working, dedicated team and will work closely with our team to take a kitchen project from concept through completion. The Project Coordinator will have the ability to prepare design plans, elevations and full mechanical drawings, create quotes, conduct site visits and communicate with contractors, clients and vendors. Must be detail-oriented and take pride in and responsibility for all aspects of their work.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel on a flexible schedule as needed
  • Ability to work independently on location as needed
  • Education in the field of interior design or architecture
  • A combination of 6 years work experience/education in the kitchen design industry preferred
  • Working knowledge of residential construction, and reading architectural plans
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Familiarity and comfort working in an active construction site

Job Description

  • Ability to thrive in a high pressure time sensitive environment
  • Confidence in representing bulthaup to a perspective client, and ability to review design/pricing details with clients
  • Partner with management to stay informed about local developments and target key partners to establish a network
  • Manage projects from bid, through design process, through to final installation/punchlist
  • Drafting in Autocad using bulthaup display standards
  • Use of bulthaup’s internal pricing and order processing software
  • Fluent knowledge of bulthaup system and special installations and applications
  • Continuous education on current appliance brands and products, and their installation
  • On location job site measuring, inspection, and subcontractor meetings
  • Receive deliveries on site and coordinate delivery to unit, review packing lists
  • Coordination with trades through project managers and field representatives
  • Travel to local and out of state job sites, client visits and trainings as necessary
  • Highly organized individual that can maintain files and schedules
  • Assist senior leadership as necessary, and coordinate with larger commercial team
  • Receive clients and perform general administrative duties
