New York: Construction-Contract Administrator for Commercial Sales (m/f)

We are seeking a Construction/Contract Administrator in New York to join our Commercial Sales division. Our team is uniquely situated to exceed the demands of high profile multi-unit construction projects throughout the US. Distinguished architects and developers have relied on our design and project management expertise to ensure their projects are executed professionally.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detailed individual with a passion for construction administration, accounting, and logistics. The successful candidate will support the team in transforming our projects from concept to completion.


  • Minimum 3 years experience in construction accounting, and AIA requisitions
  • Proficiency in Excel, SAP or other ERP software. Knowledge of E-Sub a plus.
  • Individual should be detail oriented, organized and have solid time management skills.

Description and Responsibilities

  • Assist the logistics, accounting, and project management teams in the administration of multiple large scale multi-unit contracts throughout the US
  • Assist installation team in construction schedules, punchlist tracking, and service requests in order to submit and maintain project close out documents
  • Maintain contract records, payments, change orders, invoices, billing and collections.
  • Prepare monthly reports for management and corporate accounting
  • Prepare and submit monthly AIA payment requisitions, bill of sales and lien waivers
  • Assist in the coordination of logistics, resource management, and installation
  • Assist corporate accounting with yearly audit preparation
  • Generate and track replacement orders, schedule access for replacement work
  • NY Notary Public a plus

    Los Angeles: Project Coordinator (m/f)

    bulthaup kitchens are revered for their clean lines, ergonomic layout and precision German engineering and manufacturing - all of which are fundamental to creating timeless living spaces.

    We are seeking a project coordinator for our prestigious Los Angeles flagship showroom. The successful candidate will become part of a hard-working and dedicated team and will work closely with the sales designers to take a kitchen project from concept through completion. The Project Coordinator must have the ability to prepare design plans, elevations and full mechanical drawings, (AutoCad) They will create quotes, conduct site visits and communicate with contractors, clients and vendors. Must be detail-oriented, enthusiastic and take pride in and responsibility for all aspects of their work.

    5 days per week – including some Saturdays


    • Education in the field of interior design or architecture.
    • Work experience in the kitchen business is a definite bonus
    • Knowledge of residential construction, drawings, codes.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD a must.
    • Experience with European furniture systems a definite plus

      • 3+ years experience in the kitchen business
      • Knowledge of European kitchen systems is a plus, but not a requirement
      • Very proficient using CAD software
      • Hand sketching skills are a plus
      • Proficient in Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat
      • Appreciation and passion for architecture and design

      • Prospect new business through follow up to walk-ins, inquiries from website, magazine editorial and advertising.

      • Inspire clients on the basics of bulthaup design principles during their initial visit to the showroom by drawing on in-depth product knowledge and design in general.
      • Develop all preliminary through final plans relying on architectural / design education and experience utilizing CAD software. Strike a delicate balance between client(s) preferences, building code requirements and bulthaup minimalistic aesthetic.
      • Prepare and process detailed orders using the bulthaup product manual and bulthaup costing tools. Confirm and closely monitor orders with the factory. Maintain continuous communication with client(s) to assure proper preparation of job site and project timeline.
      • Field-verify dimensions and job site conditions for preparing detailed and accurate mechanical drawings.

As our Lead Installer, you will be empowered to own all matters relating to the installation of the bulthaup product as well as managing post-installation maintenance and service. Job duties include but not limited to

      • Obtaining measurements and reviewing drawings.
      • Conducting site visits and coordinating with contractors and/or client’s design team.
      • Full installation of kitchens, closets, bathroom cabinetry, and furniture.
      • In-house training sessions for new owners of bulthaup product.
      • Fulfilling client maintenance and service requests, including adjustments, deep cleaning, and detailing.
      • Managing, scheduling, and properly documenting all activities pertaining to installation and service.
      • Our high-end clientele demands only the very best, so you must be presentable, punctual, and courteous, never overly-friendly so as not to disrupt or impose on our client’s hospitality.
      • Must maintain a very orderly work area when installing or servicing our clients, showing the utmost respect for our clients’ residences.
      • Efficient time-management is expected.
