bulthaup, an independent family business, is deeply rooted in its history beginning in 1949. We design and realize premium, tailor-made kitchens and living spaces for individual homes and commercial projects all over the world. Architecture, innovation and precision characterize bulthaup which is something you will experience immediately when you enter the showroom.

bulthaup Zeist has been located in “De Posterij” since 1 February 2011. This architecturally beautiful building is located in a prime location in the center of Zeist. The “De Posterij” takes its name from the stately former post office from 1911. This building, like the town hall opposite, was designed by architect Stuvinga, at the time with the function of post and telegraph office. The building on Het Rond was built in neo-Louis XIV style and is on the National Monuments List.
In our showroom you can admire the various bulthaup kitchens in a special environment and receive advice on quality, functionality, ergonomics and design. In short, based on your wishes and possibilities, we achieve a functional, well-thought-out kitchen with beautiful lines that you can enjoy for years to come.

The showroom is owned by Gijsbert Bakkenes, designer and consultant. Gijsbert is supported by interior architect Florine Grimberg and Radboud Geenen. As an addition to the team Wesley van Nistelrooij is appointed as service engineer. Together they will work with all your housing requirements and translate these into a sophisticated and personal kitchen design. They look beyond the kitchen alone, they take the style and atmosphere of your entire home into account in their design. In short, tailor-made advice!
In addition to the styling aspect, functionality is also central in the designs, because a kitchen must be practical as well as beautifully designed. A space to work and enjoy with pleasure.
The team likes to be challenged to design your dream kitchen. We will take care of the entire process from design and advice to assembly and service. If desired, we can also advise and facilitate you in the field of architectural adjustments if necessary.
Gijsbert Bakkenes: ‘It is my goal to create a personal kitchen design for everyone individually. A design in which the resident can experience the best moments to enjoy with all your senses and really feels at home. Only when that is successful, I am satisfied.’

After the sale, the process of realizing your kitchen begins. We guarantee you the best quality of service and execution, from the beginning of the project to its completion.
Control
For the realization of your kitchen, we share the complete file with our project supervisor, your personal point of contact, to whom you can turn to with any questions. He or she checks the specifications of your kitchen, makes the final installation drawings and orders all parts. During the inspection, sometimes, minor changes are made to improve details to the specification and drawing which will be presented to you.
Planning
We will keep you informed about the current status of your order. After the kitchen has been confirmed by the factory in detail and double checked by us again. You will receive an order confirmation with the final specifications and drawings. This will contain all the items that will be delivered, including any additional agreements on delivery and assembly. This gives you a clear overview of everything and avoids surprises.
Delivery of your kitchen
There it is – your new bulthaup kitchen! When we assemble your kitchen, we handle the installation and usually also the connection of all items purchased from us. No one knows our products better than our bulthaup mechanics. If you have any questions during installation, please contact them.
Final inspection
After installation, your advisor of course will be happy to visit you and see the final result. During this visit, if desired, he will explain the operation of the equipment to you. Any shortcomings will be carefully assessed and dealt with, and any work still to be done will be scheduled. After all, we are not satisfied until you are enjoying your kitchen to your full satisfaction.

From the A12
Take exit 20 “Driebergen”, follow direction Zeist, follow Driebergseweg. Keep straight until you reach 1e Dorpsstraat, take the first left (at Figi). bulthaup is located opposite the Hermitage restaurant.
From the A28 from Utrecht
Take exit 2 “De Uithof”, follow direction Zeist, follow Utrechtseweg, changes into Lageweg. The first road on the left (opposite the entrance to Slot Zeist) is Het Rond. bulthaup is located opposite the Hermitage restaurant.
From the A28 from Amersfoort
Take exit 3 “Den Dolder” and follow direction Zeist, follow Boulevard. At the roundabout turn left, Lindenlaan becomes Jagerslaan. At the traffic lights turn right, Laan van Beek en Royen. At the end turn right, 1e Dorpstraat, first left (at Figi). bulthaup is located opposite the Hermitage restaurant.
Sufficient (paid) parking in front of the door or 100 meters away in the parking garage under the town hall. Free parking is possible behind Slot Zeist, from here it is a 5-minute walk to our showroom.
